Hervé Launches Competition To Find New Cheap Thrills Talent

Cheap Thrills, the pioneering independent house label responsible for hit singles such as Hervé’s Together, Fake Blood’s I Think I Like It and Jack Beats’ All Night has launched a competition to remix label boss Hervé’s collaboration with Canadian rapper Cadence WeaponRoll With The Winners”.

The track originally appeared as an exclusive on Hervé’s Mixmag covermount mix CD and until now has never been given a full release. The winner will see their remix released later this summer on Cheap Thrills.

The stems to the track have been uploaded to Hervé’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/hervespace?sk=app_190322544333196) and are freely available to download to anyone who ‘Likes’ the page. Budding producers have until June 30th to submit their remixes and Hervé himself will select the winner after that.

Said Cheap Thrills label boss Hervé I hadn’t intending to release ‘Roll With The Winners’ as the song had been around, though unavailable, for a long time but I thought it would be great to do a remix competition and get others to bring it up to date/take it into the future!

Cheap Thrills was launched in 2008 by producer and DJ Joshua ‘Hervé’ Harvey and since then it has spawned two sub-labels Cheaper Thrills and Deep Thrills. All three labels are A’n’R’ed by Hervé and to date have released tracks from artists as diverse as Jack Beats, Reset!, Fake Blood, Baxta, Moonbootica, C.R.S.T., Lone and Mighty Mouse.
