Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and pianist Fay Wolf "lives and breathes the songs as a character in the scenes she crafts" on her intimate and honest full length debut Spiders. Produced by Billy Mohler (Macy Gray, Lenka, War Tapes) and Joshua Ostrander (Eastern Conference Champions, Kav, Voxhaul Broadcast), Spiders will be available November 8, 2011 independently.

For those familiar with Fay, it should come as no surprise that she so aptly creates character and drama in her music. Not only is she a singer/songwriter and de facto comedian, but also a classically-trained actress who has worked in theatre, film and television with guest appearances on Law & Order, Numb3rs, Bones, Ghost Whisperer and NCIS: Los Angeles.

Over the last few years, she’s endeared herself to critics and fans alike with her disarming honesty – she’s often described her music as "sadsongfunnyjokemusictimes," – dark humor and wit, and stunning live performances.

In 2009, Fay Wolf released Blankets, her debut EP. Following the release, Fay’s music spread via word-of-mouth, and fans regularly gather to see her perform at venues like Hotel Café in Los Angeles and The Living Room in New York City.

In addition to her grassroots success, Fay’s music has also been featured in the hit shows Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Covert Affairs, and Pretty Little Liars. Her cover of The Outfield’s "Your Love" was released exclusively on the Pretty Little Liars Television Soundtrack in February 2011.

And if that’s not enough to keep her busy, Fay is also a professional organizer who has her own company called ‘New Order’, named after the band.

Fay performs in Los Angeles at Room 5 on Wednesday, September 14 and at Barre on Monday, September 26. Spiders CD release shows tba.
