The Drums launch web TV channel with live video of brand new track 'Money'!

With the release of their return album ‘Portamento’ and single ‘Money’ both scheduled for a week on Monday (September 5th) through Moshi Moshi/Island, THE DRUMS have let Captured Tracks’ fellow New Yorkers Craft Spells give the lead track a synthed up reworking.

The Craft Spells remix of Money can be downloaded for free here

The remix comes as the band also launch their own web TV channel called VISIOMENTO on THE DRUMS, where they will be uploading a new video every week. Expect to find exclusive interviews, live performance and special guest appearances every Tuesday for the rest of the year.

The first episode of VISIOMENTO shows a live studio performance of new album track ‘What You Were’.

Last week the band announced a full UK tour for November with their new line-up, which has swollen to a quintet live, augmented by two auxiliary members. Also gone are the backing tracks used for the bulk of their live shows to date, thus lending their performances a more visceral, spontaneous feel, in line with the aesthetic of the new album.

The November tour will follow their 3 intimate London album launch shows at the beginning of September, which sold out within less than 15 minutes of going on sale.
