BRS Kash – Thug Cry – Live Session | Vevo Ctrl.
“We’ve been stuck in the house so long, when everybody gets to go back outside, I want ’em to be able to turn up.” That’s the people-first generosity that BRS Kash says fuels his ‘Kash Only’ project, which dropped in January. With solid features from DaBaby, Mulatto, City Girls and our DSCVR artist Toosii, it’s 34 minutes of hyper-sexualized lyrics to put a smile on your face – stuff so ridiculous you can’t help but laugh. The Atlanta rapper with the gleaming gold smile says there’s too much music about guns and trapping, not enough about having fun. His lyrically-graphic breakout track “Throat Baby” feels like a spiritual sequel to “WAP.” Kash says he wrote it after a “crazy encounter one night.” In his world, sex is a constant that inspires all kinds of scenes. His Ctrl performances of “Throat Baby” and “Thug Cry” are steamy knock-outs that prove that his message really comes alive in front of a mic.
