Footwear brand New Balance created the Test Run Program back in 2018 with the aim of challenging the conventional creative process. Designers were given the green light to experiment with new technologies, techniques, and materials.
Over a year has passed and the company can now reveal the result of this project. New Balance has announced a limited-edition sneaker named ‘ PRJ 3.0’ that addresses sustainability through the use of existing midsoles and surplus materials to reduce leftover waste. The performance sneaker line is unique as a result of mashing up the materials. No shoe is the same. Not even pairs are the same.
‘ PRJ 3.0’ will be available globally from 15 November on the New Balance online store.
