The creators of “tasty as hell plant-based foods” have launched PigOut Pigless Pork Rinds to satisfy our cravings for bacon. We’ve not tried them here at Digital Warble yet but they do sound pretty damn delicious.

There are four flavours to choose from, Original, Nacho Cheese, Hella Hot, and Texas BBQ. And each bag is packed with 25 grams of plant-based protein and free from gluten, soy, GMOs, cholesterol and trans fats.

To top it all off nicely, they’re certified with the big green vegan tick to keep pretty much everyone happy. So it does sound like we’re getting closer to mastering pretty much every flavour that comes from an animal.

It’s great news for the piggies as this could be a great step in the direction of reducing the negative environmental impact of pig farming. Thousands of swine and other farm animals in confined areas, where faeces and waste often spread to surrounding neighbourhoods can pollute air and water with toxic waste particles.

The new PigOut Pigless Pork Rinds will be available from 7th February 2020.
